Introducing the Freedom Range

Vox Gentè means the voice of the people. Since 2016 we’ve made premium pieces for people who want what they wear to say something. The Freedom Range is where that name finds its purpose.

Why “Freedom”

Too many people around the world are still fighting for the right to live freely and with dignity. The Freedom Range is our way of standing with them, in the colours of their flags and the symbols of their homelands, and of turning every purchase into real help.

Told in chapters

The range is told in chapters. Each one stands with a people. Chapter I stands with Palestine, Syria, Lebanon and Sudan, with nine embroidered pieces, each with an Arabic name:

  • Zaytoun (olive): the olive tree, roots no one can pull up.
  • Awda (the return): three doves flying home.
  • Sirb (a flock in flight): four doves in the four colours of the flag.
  • Ghazal (gazelle): the national animal of Palestine, leaping free.
  • Risha (feather): in colours shared by Palestine and Sudan.
  • Hurriya (freedom): a dove breaking its chains, for Syria.
  • Farasha (butterfly): Lebanon and Palestine on one piece, with over 300,000 stitches.

20% to Salam Charity UK

20% of profits from every Freedom Range piece go to Salam Charity UK (registered charity 1142191), a relief charity delivering food, clean water, shelter, healthcare and education to families in need. We don’t stop at donating: we work alongside Salam on the ground, and this journal is where we’ll share what we see.

Freedom has no borders. Thank you for wearing it with us.
