Zaytoun (زيتون) is Arabic for olive.
Olive trees can live for hundreds of years, and through every season they keep bearing fruit. That is why the olive tree has become the symbol of Palestinian steadfastness: rooted in the land, impossible to move. On this hoodie, a full olive tree spreads across the back. The flag's colours run up through its trunk, and four birds in white, red, green and black lift from its branches, carrying the spirit of a people who will always return home.

Every motif is drawn by the Vox Gentè team, built from a people’s own symbols and the colours of their flag.

The design is built thread by thread, over 150,000 stitches. Embroidery doesn’t crack, peel or fade the way a print does.

Caring for your embroidery
Wash inside out at 30°, with similar colours. Wash dark colours separately. Do not tumble dry. Cool iron on the reverse, avoiding the embroidery. Treat it well and it will last for years.
